The House of Rising Sun - Far Cry 3

" There is a House in Rook Islands, they call the rising sun. And it's been the ruins of many a poor souls and God, I know I'm one." He was muttering, his gaze lost on an invisible thing fixed on the painted wall of the compound. Moments of quietness were so scarce with Vaas that she knew he could possibly break of anger in any fucking time. But it didn't matter for her. Never. Rex unconsciousl tightened her grip on the bed sheet against her breasts.

" Montenegro~ Are you becoming softer or what? " She gave him a nudge. 

" Shut the fuck up, Chica. " He answered, growling and showing his teeth like a wild animal. 

Volker's sister sighed. He extended one of her thin arms to reach two Cohiba cigars she had stole from her brother's desk. Then, she just slipped one of them in the pirate lord's mouth and gave him a tender smile. She took the risk of kissing his shoulder, even if she had a high chance of being punched right in the face. That's okay. She would bear that. It wouldn't be the first nor the last punch. She was kind of used to it. Always like fighting, specially with Montenegro. However, no punch hit her this time. When she raised her gaze to see if something was wrong, Vaas was staring blankly at her. His emerald green eyes empty and his eyebrows slightly frowned.

" My mother was a tailor. She sewed my new bluejeans. My father was a miner man, down in Johannesburg." She sang, it was almost a whisper. "Oh mother, tell you children. Not to do what I have done. Spend your lives in sin and misery, in the House of Rising sun."

" Are you becoming softer or what, Hermana? " Vaas asked, a little smile on his lips. 

The quietness could break at any moment. But at the moment, at the fucking moment, they were away from the far murders, the far war and the far cries.

I KNOW. I know V-day is in three days but I won't be here the whole week so I post it earlier.  I was listening to The House of Rising Sun by Five Finges Death Punch while drawing this and I was ... Don't know, kinda inspired by it? So don't ask why but I thought it fit to this doodle. x) I wanted to draw this two because of reasons. Anyway, even if I'm not into romantic stuffs lemme wish you a VERY HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY ❤️
